We were honoured to host NSW Premier Chris Minns at our Apollo Engineering facility in Tamworth. During his visit, Premier Minns was guided through our advanced manufacturing operations by David Errington and the Apollo team. This visit, organized by David Harding and Diane Gray GAICD, highlighted the innovation and global reach of our company. Premier Minns saw firsthand how Apollo Engineering’s investments in R&D, culture, and skill development have made us a leader in the industry, with exports to over two dozen countries.
We’re passionate about showcasing the capabilities and achievements of Regional NSW, and it was a privilege to demonstrate how our Tamworth-based operations are contributing to both local and global markets. The visit reinforced the importance of collaboration and innovation in driving business success in the region. We’re proud to be part of a community that values progress and excellence.
In addition to visiting Apollo Engineering, NSW Premier Chris Minns announced a $60 million investment to upgrade research and emergency response facilities across regional NSW, including $6 million for the Tamworth Agricultural Institute. The Premier highlighted the importance of this investment in strengthening regional communities, which are vital to the state's economic prosperity.
The Premier's visit came after the announcement that Apollo Engineering is participating in the New South Wales Government's Going Global Export Program for the Mining Equipment, Technology, and Services (METS) sector in India. This initiative presents a significant opportunity for Apollo Engineering to accelerate its growth strategy within the Indian market.
