As we step into October, we'd like to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible month September has been, especially with the Tamworth Quality Business Awards. It was a fantastic evening celebrating the achievements of our local businesses. A huge congratulations to our winners and finalists—your innovation, commitment, and excellence continue to inspire us all! This evening could not have been such a success without our judges, sponsors, and vendors. We are very appreciative and thankful for your hard work and continued support.
Additionally, we recently hosted our third successful Business After Five (BA5) event at Inland Technology and GJ Gardner Homes. It was a wonderful opportunity for networking and learning, allowing our members to connect and explore the innovative work being done by these local businesses. We appreciate Inland Technology and GJ Gardner Homes for opening their doors and showcasing their impressive operations.
We’d also like to congratulate the newly elected councilors in the recent Tamworth Local Council Elections. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the outgoing councilors who have put in the hard yards over the past years; your dedication has made a lasting impact on our community. We wish you all the best in your future ventures and look forward to working with the new council to support local businesses in the Tamworth region.
Looking ahead, October brings Small Business Month, packed with workshops, networking events, and seminars. Read on for more information about where you can learn new skills to help your business thrive in our community.
In November, we’ll celebrate 60 years of the Tamworth Business Chamber! We’ll be celebrating in several ways, so please ensure you follow our socials to stay updated.
Be sure to mark your calendars for the upcoming Long Lunch on the 02nd November hosted by Chamber Connect and the State of the Nation Leaders’ Forum on November 13th, featuring Barnaby Joyce and a special presentation from Judo Bank on national economic trends and their impact on regional businesses.
