Quality Business Awards Expression of Interest:
Last month we put out an expression of interest for businesses who would like to be part of QBA 2024, and we have received a few questions. Below are answers to the most common questions.
- Do you have to be a member of Tamworth Business Chamber to be a vendor for the awards night?
Yes, although you don’t have to have been a member previously. We will continue to support the member base that keeps us going.
- What is the budget or minimum standard for the event?
At this stage we have not locked in a budget for the event, we will, however, be focusing on quality. There is a standard for Tamworth’s premier event of the year, and we will continue to uphold it. What we would like to see is businesses who have high quality services and abilities but may not have the ability to do an event this size completely solo. We are particularly interested in hearing from caterers who may be able to do a single course or work with other businesses to make platters for certain courses.
- Is there a theme or colour palette for the event?
Again, nothing has been set in stone but the Tamworth Business Chamber colours are black and gold. We have also discussed using diamonds to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Chamber.
- When can vendors get access to bump in?
This depends on what access is needed, we will work with the team at TRECC to ensure all vendors have access when needed.
- What will be provided by the venue and what needs to be provided by vendors?
This will depend on what can be offered by vendors. We will work with all suppliers to ensure everyone has the equipment needed, in whatever way is financially viable.
- Will caterers need to supply the glassware, cutlery, and crockery?
Again, this will depend on what can be offered by vendors. We will work with all suppliers to ensure everyone has the equipment needed, in whatever way is financially viable.
If there are any questions about what services are needed for the gala event and how you can contribute, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
