About the Quality Business Awards

Now entering its 42nd year, the Quality Business Awards continues to be Tamworth’s most trusted and prestigious business recognition program, celebrating the incredible success stories across our region.

Following a highly successful 2025 event, the 2026 Gala Dinner is set to return to TRECC on Friday, 4 September 2026, bringing together over 800 people from all corners of the local business community. From Nundle to Tamworth, Attunga to Barraba, any business throughout the region can be nominated - or self-nominate - across a wide range of business categories.

The community is once again encouraged to get involved by nominating their favourite businesses and voting in the People’s Choice Award once finalists are announced.

What are the categories?

Who judges the Awards?

Over 50 independent judges from diverse industries are recruited each year to ensure a robust, transparent, and professional judging process for every nomination. Complete this form to express your interest in become a judge.

Gala Dinner

As the largest business awards program in Regional Australia, the 2026 Quality Business Awards Gala Dinner will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and community representatives from across the Tamworth region for a night of celebration, recognition, and connection.

Held on Friday, 4 September 2026 at the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre (TRECC), the evening will showcase the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals who continue to drive growth, innovation, and prosperity throughout our region.

Aligned with this year’s theme, “Lighting Up Business in Spring,” the 2026 Gala Dinner will celebrate the businesses, teams, and leaders who are helping shape a vibrant and thriving local economy through excellence, resilience, customer service, and community contribution.

Guests can expect an unforgettable evening featuring award presentations, live entertainment, premium dining, networking opportunities, and inspiring stories from across the Tamworth business community.
