About the Quality Business Awards
Now entering its 41st year, the Quality Business Awards continues to be Tamworth’s most trusted and prestigious business recognition program, celebrating the incredible success stories across our region.
Following a highly successful 2024 event, the 2025 Gala Dinner is set to return to TRECC on Friday, 5 September 2025, bringing together over 800 people from all corners of the local business community. From Nundle to Tamworth, Attunga to Barraba, any business throughout the region can be nominated - or self-nominate - across a wide range of business categories.
The community is once again encouraged to get involved by nominating their favourite businesses and voting in the People’s Choice Award once finalists are announced.
What are the categories?
There are 28 award categories, each with clearly defined criteria to ensure fairness and consistency across all entries. Download the full list of categories here. Nominations open Monday 16th June.
Who judges the Awards?
Over 50 independent judges from diverse industries are recruited each year to ensure a robust, transparent, and professional judging process for every nomination. Complete this form to express your interest in become a judge.
Gala Dinner
As the largest business awards program in Regional Australia, the 2025 winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner on Friday, 5 September 2025 at TRECC. It promises to be another unforgettable night celebrating excellence, innovation, and community spirit in local business.

Join us for an unforgettable evening at the 2025 Tamworth Quality Business Awards celebrating the best in the business our region has to offer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow nominees, mingle with industry leaders and party the night away!
This year, local artist Jarred Taylor will be performing with his six-piece band to rock the night away! Taylor has become a highly sought after performer appearing at festivals throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. In recent years, Jarred has expanded his repertoire by leading “The Australian Luke Combs Experience,” a tribute show that pays homage to the American country superstar featuring powerful vocals and authentic renditions of Combs’ greatest hits which will be part of his dynamic performance once the formality of the awards concludes.

- Refunds/Cancellations: Tickets are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within seven days of the event (after Friday 29th August at 5.00pm). For refunds or cancellations prior to this date, please request in writing to operationsmanager@tamworth.org.au
