AGM Nominations – General Information
The Tamworth Business Chamber is pleased to announce that nominations for the Board of Directors have now closed. We received five nominations for four available positions.
Voting is now open for Chamber members to elect the next group of leaders who will help guide the Chamber’s direction, advocacy, and strategic priorities for the coming term.
About the Election
Serving as a Director on the Tamworth Business Chamber Board is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the region’s business landscape. Directors play a key role in shaping the Chamber’s strategy, influencing local and regional advocacy efforts, and driving initiatives that strengthen and support Tamworth’s business community.
Role of a Director
Elected Directors serve a three-year term and are expected to:
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making
- Represent the Chamber at events, forums, and stakeholder meetings
- Support key initiatives such as the Quality Business Awards, Shop Local Campaigns, and Chamber Connect programs
- Act as an ambassador for the Chamber and advocate for our mission and values
Voting Details
Eligible Chamber members are invited to cast their vote and have a say in who represents them on the Board.
Voting closes at 5:00pm on Thursday, 20 November 2025.
Election results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting.
