We’re excited to share that the Think Local, Shop Local Campaign has already delivered strong results just two weeks into the 10-week promotion!

With over 2,900 valid entries received and an average spend of $129, our community has injected more than $355,000 into the local economy — and we’re only just getting started.

According to the Australian Retailers Association, 2025 is showing a clear trend: more consumers are choosing to shop local, with a 30% increase in preference for in-store over online shopping since 2023. With rising inflation and more budget-conscious households, shoppers are placing higher value on real-world experiences — the ability to speak to knowledgeable staff and try products before purchasing.

That’s why campaigns like Think Local, Shop Local matter. They not only keep dollars circulating in our region, but they also champion the personalised service and quality assurance that only local stores can provide.

With 152 local businesses participating so far, there are still plenty of chances to win — and yes, it’s not too late for your business to get involved! To sign up, visit www.tamworth.org.au.

And don’t forget — each week’s key winner has until 4:00pm on the day of the draw to call the station and claim their prize key. If they don’t, it jackpots!

Let’s keep supporting local and make every purchase count.
