Ronald McDonald House provide a home away from home for families experiencing a high risk pregnancy, an arrival of a new baby, a sick or an injured child. With no cost to families, the House provides somewhere safe, welcoming & comfortable for New England North West families, close to Tamworth hospital after travelling hundreds of km’s to seek medical treatment & support. Funded through support from our local community, RMHC try to provide as much as possible to families to help relieve the financial burden of being away from home & their support network. This includes meals, snacks, tea, coffee, toys, games, comfort items and more. Each year the House will see 150-200 unique families walkthrough the doors. In the 15 years of supporting country kids & their families, over 12,000 nights of accommodation have been provided to over 2000families.
