Magenta Community Services was born out of our founders’ passion, desire and dedication to provide personalised and accessible services to those who need it most. The goal was to build an organisation with people at its heart. 

Founded in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales back in 2013, today Magenta has become instrumental for thousands of clients accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and My Aged Care services.

When the Magenta doors first opened, our services supported one person. Fast forward to today, and the organisation proudly supports nearly 500 people (and counting!) each year across Central Queensland, Southern Queensland, and the Northern Rivers and New England regions in New South Wales. 

While our numbers have grown, our goal has and always remain the same:  Provide heartfelt, compassionate professional services to as many people that are in need of it and be fully committed to helping all our clients to lead fulfilling, happy lives – without limitations. We are proud advocates for the disability and aged sectors, which is ingrained in our roots. 

Our founders’ connection to the disability and community sectors stems much deeper than their more than 30 years of professional experience. It embodies their life work and the memory of their daughter. Born in 1992 with major health complications and diagnosed with a disability, Emily tragically passed away in1996, leaving a legacy that the founders feel is their vocation.

Magenta Community Services takes pride in its foundation rooted in grass roots principles—a history characterised by compassion, kindness, and collaboration, all driven by a sincere commitment to truly impact the lives of others.
