This website launched on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, as an extension of the printed Country Music Bulletin and is designed to provide a service and resource for the general public as well as the Australian country music industry. The quarterly print publication was a dedicated industry or trade magazine specifically targetted only to the industry, said Publisher Bob Kirchner. It ceased publication as a result of the GFC of 2007-2008 and the websiteb was expanded dramaticallt into a broader, dedicated Australian country music news website.
