As one of the most comprehensive award programs in NSW, our Awards would not be possible without the voluntary hours spent judging the various award categories. Importantly, to ensure the transparency of the judging process, we require TWO judges per award category. We will ask all judges to nominate their preferred categories, so they feel confident to carry out in this important role.

Nominations for the Quality Business Awards open Friday 16 June with award judging commencing Friday 7 July.

The Tamworth Business Chamber will host an orientation evening in the Passchendaele Room at the Town Hall 5.30pm Tuesday 27 June for all judges so that you can feel confident of your role and responsibilities.

Business operators intending on entering the Awards can still volunteer to judge with the understanding they will not be allocated any conflicting award categories.

Excellence in Customer Service judge: "From a judge's point of view it was beneficial to assess other businesses and the opportunity was constructive for my own business practices."

Business NSW Aligned category judge: "I found it very interesting, exciting and inciteful being on the other side judging a diverse range of small and large local businesses. The key award markers for me were those businesses who chose daily to 'head and heart' their vision, staff and customers and their products and services. There are a lot of great businesses out there in this diverse region."
