Tamworth Business Chamber is pleased to announce that applications are open for the TBC Mentoring Program for 2017.  We are seeking participants and volunteer Mentors for this wonderful Program.

 

The TBC Mentoring Program provides a fantastic opportunity for young business people (18 to 35 years) to further develop their personal and business skills under the mentorship of successful local business entrepreneurs, directors and managers.

 

The TBC Mentoring Program is open to business persons aged 18 to 35 years who reside and/or work in the Tamworth region and who are passionate about personal growth and business development.  Participants have the opportunity to complete a Certificate IV in Business through ATAC (Australian Training & Consulting) as part of the Program. 

 

The Program will be delivered over 6 months and will include a monthly workshop and training session delivered by ATAC, and a monthly mentoring session delivered by local business people who specialise in specific areas of business.

 

Monthly business topics of the TBC Mentoring program include:

  • Networking
  • WHS and Risk Management
  • Marketing
  • Finance
  • Communication
  • Leadership & Management

Included in the TBC Mentoring program is a free ticket to attend the Quality Business Awards on 4 August 2017, where participants of the Program will formally graduate.

 

Cost

Members $450 or $90pm (incl. GST)

Non-Members: $750 or $150pm (incl. GST)

February to August 2017 (6 months)

Term & Conditions:

The TBC Mentoring Program is open to business persons aged 18 to 35 years who reside and/or work in the Tamworth region and who are passionate about personal growth & business development.

 

The program will be delivered over 6 months and will includes monthly group mentoring sessions delivered by local business people who specialise in specific areas of business and monthly individual, one-on-one mentoring sessions to work on each month's business topic on a more personal level.

 

Participants of the TBC Mentoring Program will be encouraged to enter the Young Business Executive and Young Business Entrepreneur awards at the TBC Quality Business Awards. Participants will build on their business knowledge throughout the six (6) month program and will be assisted with their award nomination through their one-one-one coaching sessions.

 

Placement in the TBC Mentoring Program is secured once either full payment of the program, or the first monthly instalment has been received by 13 February 2017 unless alternative arrangements have been made with the TBC Executive Officer.

 

TBC Mentoring Program participants paying by monthly instalments will incur a penalty of 50% of the remaining program cost if they withdraw from the program before completion. Participants who have paid in full will be reimbursed 50% of the remaining program cost if they withdraw from the program before completion.

 

TBC Mentoring Program participants may re-nominate for future programs but priority will be given to new persons joining the program.

 

All TBC Mentoring Program participants are expected to observe and respect their own, as well as their fellow program participants’ right to confidentiality when attending mentoring workshops where sensitive information may be shared.

 

If any participant breaches the Program’s conditions, the Tamworth Business Chamber reserves the right to withdraw the participant’s enrolment from the Program. The decision of the Tamworth Business Chamber on all matters pertaining or incidental to the TBC Mentoring Program shall be final.
